This is the permanent overhead rig I have set up in my studio. Since filming Skillshare classes is part of my job, this setup is more advanced than the average person needs but since I get asked about it almost daily, I'm sharing the resources here. My rig is made up of 3 components:

A Manfrotto Autopole which I have installed horizontally above my worktable. Attached to the Autopole is a Manfrotto Super Clamp and attached to the Super Clamp is a Manfrotto Micro Friction Arm which holds the camera.
