Coming up with a versatile palette for October is always tricky. I usually like to provide something moody enough to work for Halloween art but still flexible enough to work with other subject matter as well. I always seem to come back to some variation of these colors (if you scroll through old October palettes, you'll see what I mean lol). This is definitely not a timid palette - depending on the combination, it can be quite dramatic or it could be more elegant if you go monochrome with the black, grays and cream. I'm looking forward to seeing how you use it!
